Laura is Founder and Principal of MarketPoint LLC, a communications consulting firm that works with organizations to solve complex communications and culture issues that keep them from fully realizing their goals. She has 30 years of experience working with both corporate and nonprofit clients at regional, national, and international levels. Her career spans a wide range of industries, including work with major organizations like Sylvan Learning Systems, Studios Architecture, McCormick & Company, and the National Archives.
A graduate of the University of Illinois, Laura is an accomplished speaker and has led seminars for the American Marketing Association, Association for Talent Development, American Strategic Management Institute, and the Public Relations Society of America. She has served on multiple boards including as Chair of the Mentoring Committee for Executive Alliance, as a member of the Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Campaign, as a Trustee for the Lyric Foundation Board in Baltimore, as an Advisory Board Member for University of Baltimore’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and as International Chair for the Baltimore Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners.
Laura served as a U.S. Corporate Ambassador to Nairobi, Kenya for Vital Voices Global Partnership in 2009, and was twice appointed by Governor Larry Hogan to serve on the Maryland Small Business Development Financing Authority (MSBDFA). She has held membership in the National Association of Corporate Directors and is a current member of both the American Marketing Association and Women in Research, where she mentors rising professionals. She was named to Maryland’s Top 100 Women in 2016 & 2019 by The Daily Record.
Jonathan focuses on helping clients to foster creativity, innovation and adaptability within their teams and organizations. He brings 25 years of experience working with individuals and teams, from start-ups to FTSE 100 companies in both Europe and Asia. He has led workshops for some of the biggest brands in the world, including Chanel, McDonald’s and P&G, and has created advertising, marketing, and communications solutions for B2C, B2B and social business clients.
Designing a collaborative, engaging and inclusive journey for each client, Jonathan applies the principles of creative problem solving, design thinking, multiple intelligences theory, and improvisation to disrupt ordinary thinking and create breakthroughs for individuals, teams and organizations. He helps business leaders and their teams employ their creativity and collective intelligence to strengthen their business models, marketing and innovation programs, and organizational development.
Jonathan is a Learning Partner at Tangent, Trinity College Dublin’s innovation workspace, a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts, a member of the Academic Council of the G5A Foundation for Contemporary Culture in Mumbai, and a global trainer and certified facilitator in Lego Serious Play® and Basadur Applied Innovation methods. In the US, he is part of the core faculty of the Creative Education Foundation and teaches the foundation course in creative problem-solving at their annual CPSI Conference.
Becky Choi has been helping organizations and leaders understand and leverage their individual and group dynamics since 1991. Throughout her career, she has helped companies build efficient, productive, high-performing teams and strong leaders that achieve sustainable results. Becky’s unique blend of experience in organization development, business, law and human resources provides an integrated perspective on how to help people and organizations move forward to achieve their goals.
She holds a Certificate in Organization Development from Georgetown University and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas at Austin. She is admitted to practice law in Virginia, DC and Georgia.
Joy Levin has managed all phases of studies and research activities including strategic formulation and development, selection of analytical methodology, research design, field activity oversight, data interpretation and analysis, and results presentation. She has experience with qualitative methods, including focus groups (both live and online) as well as quantitative techniques (phone-, paper-, and web-based). Her research experience spans a broad spectrum of topics including concept testing, branding, consumer dynamics, demographic and psychographic segmentation, market share, loyalty, customer satisfaction, membership assessments, product testing, industry/market overviews, and trial/repeat purchasing. She is fluent in various quantitative methodologies including simple and multiple regression, significance testing, conjoint analysis, TURF, perceptual mapping, chi-squared testing, cluster analysis and descriptive statistical measurement.
Joy’s work spans multiple industries, including telecommunications, associations, travel, retail, public sector, non-profit, financial services, and technology. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Boston University, and serves on the board of the Baltimore chapter of the American Marketing Association.
David Lunken has over 25 years of experience as a results-driven senior executive with hands-on achievements in operations, sales and marketing leadership. He works with senior leaders in organizations to help them build effective teams that are empowered to achieve and surpass company goals. He is experienced at helping organizations align their people with their business strategies through a combination of insight, education and coaching. Utilizing the Predictive Index® (PI), a proven, proprietary management tool, he works closely with companies of all sizes to help them reliably predict work-related behavior and align the performance of individuals with specific business needs – specifically learning to engage, motivate and create the right environment for employees to be effective and successful.
David studied Philosophy at Hobart College and later attended Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business for his MBA with a concentration in marketing and entrepreneurship. He also serves as a faculty member for the Creative Education Foundation’s Creative Problem-Solving Institute.
Gerry Sandusky is the play-by-play voice for the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens, a New York Times best-selling author of Forgotten Sundays, and the sports director for Baltimore’s NBC affiliate, WBAL-TV.
The son of a former NFL coach, Gerry has found his own niche in coaching as president of The Sandusky Group, a leadership communication company focused on helping leaders transform the impact of their communication, accelerate their career, and expand their influence. He helps leaders and emerging leaders clarify and leverage their brand, present ideas, grow teams, and improve audience perception in presentations, meetings, on-line, and in the media.
